Service Description

Class Duration: 4 Days **A California State Fire Training certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course. -No agency affiliation is necessary to register for this course This is a classroom-based course designed to develop students fire behavior prediction knowledge through the concepts of fuels, weather and topography. The course also prepares the prospective fireline supervisor to undertake safe and effective fire management operations. It is the second course in a series that collectively serves, and meets the training requirements needed to become a Single Resource Boss. Prerequisites: Completion of S-190 (Available free online through NWCG)


Cancellation Policy

To cancel your registration and receive a refund you need to contact Southern Sierra Fire Training 30-calendar days prior to the first day of the class. A $15 refund processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount for each class canceled. However, if you cancel your registration within 30-calendar days of the first day of class, you can carryover your registration towards any class we offer now or in the future. You will not lose your class registration. Just contact us to cancel and/or to apply your cancelled registration towards another Southern Sierra Fire Training class.
